Kiara Kästle
Hello, I am Kiara Kästle, actor and dancer. I was born in London, England and with only six months I moved to the Canary Islands with my father when he decided to live somewhere where there was surf.
With a German father and Scottish influence from my mother’s side, all while living in the Canary Islands, there was no shortage of cultural diversity. This sparked a love for the creative arts. At age 6 I started dancing classical ballet. From there I moved on to contemporary and lyrical. Later on this gave me the opportunity to be a dancer in a music video for the French pop band “Hyphen Hyphen” directed by John Poliquin.
Around the same time, I enrolled in a theatre group at my hometown, where I played the wizard of oz in “The Wizard of Oz” and many others and it’s when I realised that there was no better feeling than performing.
I love to travel and experience more cultures so when I graduated arts high school I moved to Melbourne, Australia to pursue my acting career. I enrolled at TAFTA with John Orcsik and after a year of camera training, traveling through southeast Asia and being part of many film projects; I ended up getting my associates degree in the American Academy of Dramatic arts in Los Angeles.
I returned to Spain after getting two degrees abroad because I was curious about how the industry worked in my home country. I also finished an undergraduate degree at the arts school TAI in Madrid.
Currently I am based in Los Angeles, California where I´ll continue to train, act, and write my own projects.
